The
durene throwback
The Tulsa Oilers will be wearing a
throwback jersey designed and manufactured exclusively by GameWorn.com.
 The
Dureen machines have not ran since the late 70's - early 80's, about the time
the demand for Durene had died down, But GameWorn.com hunted down these
machined and had them brought back to life. Why you ask?
With
all these Professional teams going "retro" or using "Turning Back the Clock,"
style, GameWorn.com is not only committed to keeping up with the professional
standards, but we want to go the extra mile! We at Gameworn.com want to not
only make the jersey look old, but feel old as well. So after several years of
research we came up with an exciting design and were able to convince a company
to manufacture the original, durene style, jerseys again. The results were very
exciting. This is not the same "made
in China" durene type material they are
using on the throwback NFL and NHL jerseys! This is more true to the material
used in the mid-late 70's!
The
patches and crest are fully embroidered with 2 color numbers. (There is no screen printing
or sublimation!)
Each jersey will be tagged with the date of
the game, (image coming soon)
